Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
AI Mufti is a free educational product, operated from New Jersey, USA. It is designed so that there is no user data for us to hold, sell, lose or misuse.
2. What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, receive or store personal information — no names, no emails, no accounts, no questions, no history. There is no sign-up and no login.
3. What the app does on your device
- Your settings and saved answers exist only in memory, only while the app is open. The app writes nothing to your device's storage. Closing the app erases the session completely.
- The app's own files (its pages and images) are cached on your device by your browser so it loads fast and works offline. That cache contains only the app itself — never your information.
4. The few things that pass through third parties
- Hosting (Cloudflare): like every website, our host's servers automatically record standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) to deliver pages and prevent attacks. These logs are Cloudflare's, are kept under Cloudflare's policy, and we do not use them to profile anyone.
- Verse lookup: if your question is not yet in our scholar-reviewed database, the app looks up a single keyword in a public Quran text service (api.alquran.cloud) to show you relevant verses. No account, name or question history is attached to that lookup.
- Voice input (optional): if you tap the microphone, your device's own speech service (for example Apple or Google) turns speech into text under its own policy. Type instead if you prefer.
- Sharing (optional): if you tap Share, the app you choose (WhatsApp, email, etc.) handles what you send under its own policy.
5. What we never do
- No selling or sharing of personal data — we have none to sell or share.
- No advertising, ad trackers or analytics.
- No profiling of your religious views or beliefs.
- No cookies set by the app.
6. Sensitive information
Religious questions can be personal. Because nothing you type is stored or sent to us, your questions stay yours. Even so, please avoid typing names, addresses or other identifying details into any app.
7. Your rights — satisfied by design
Privacy laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, Canada's PIPEDA, Brazil's LGPD and other US state privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and others) give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, delete or sell — your rights are protected by the design of the product itself. Anything from your current session is erased the moment you close the app.
8. Children
AI Mufti is for everyone, of all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone — including children under 13 — so the app raises no children's-data issues under laws such as the US COPPA. Parents and guardians are encouraged to explore it together with young children.
9. Security
The strongest protection is not holding data at all. On top of that, the app is served over HTTPS with strict security headers, contains no third-party trackers, and answers only from a fixed, scholar-reviewed database — nothing you type can change its answers or be sent to an artificial-intelligence provider.
10. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear here with a new date and version number, and the app will show it before you continue. We will not start collecting data without updating this policy first.
11. Contact
Because this free product has no accounts and collects nothing, questions and feedback are never transmitted to us — there is no inbox of user data. The operator is based in New Jersey, USA.
